PRAYER & FASTING

In September, we have 7 days of Prayer and Fasting running from Monday 5th September until Sunday 11th September 2022.

During the week, we’ll be focusing on 7 different types of prayer including, adoration, thanksgiving, confession, reflection, healing, transformation and blessing.

We’ll also be praying into the wider vision of the church; that image of multitudes of trees planted beside the river which is Jesus. Those trees are Jesus-centred, rooted, together, broad and far reaching.

Our focus for 2022 is Coming together and Sending Out and based on two scriptures;

Mark 6:30-31The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

Matthew 7:7-8“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened…”
