What’s On

Join us for church in the building on Sunday at 11:00am by booking in via our Eventbrite page. We can’t wait to be in the building with you!

Alternatively, you can join us for church online via YouTube. The service starts at 11:00am and usually lasts for approximately 90 minutes. We have a great team of musicians at Breathe who lead praise & worship which is usually followed by a 30 minute preach from one of our leaders. If you are new to Breathe then take a look at our First Visit page as well. We look forward to seeing you and making you feel at home!

We have a fantastic network of small groups meeting across the area. Our small groups take place on the second and fourth weeks of each month, running on Monday, Tuesday or Thursdays and are a great way to get connected with people and encourage one another. We also have specific small groups for our young adults (18-30s).

Small Groups usually include a time of prayer, discussion and often follow a video-based curriculum with plenty of discussion questions to get your teeth into.

If you would like to come along to a small group you can sign up here.

We run various events and activities throughout the year for both men and women including prayer, breakfasts, film nights and input evenings specifically designed to encourage and inspire.

The social events are a great opportunity to invite friends to!

All Breathe Men and Breathe Ladies events are posted in the online diary and advertised through social media as well as on Sundays.

Here in Stoke on Trent we have two great universities, Staffordshire University and Keele University. With over 25,000 students attending the two universities, we are committed to welcoming students while they are here to study, as well as when they graduate into young adulthood.

We usually provide a bus service on Sunday mornings from the Universities and a couple of other locations.

We also run various events and activities specifically for young adults, such as small groups and socials, as well as online events via the Discord app.

YOUTH [11-17]

Whether you’re in secondary school, at college, in sixth form or have just started an apprenticeship then Youth is for you. We have a great team of youth pastors who are passionate about God and about young people.

On the second and forth Wednesdays of the month, we run Grow Nights in the building from 7:00-8:00pm; designed to encourage your faith.

Breathe Youth run their main event on Fridays throughout the school term at 7:30pm; an ideal opportunity to invite your mates along.

Our Cafe is open every Tuesday from 9:30am – 12:00pm for people of all ages to come enjoy a space to relax and chat. We serve toast, crumpets, tea cakes, cheese oatcakes as well as a selection of tea, coffee, and specialty hot drinks.

If you have children with you, there will be a selection of age appropriate toys for young children and babies to enjoy.

You do not need to book in to attend the event and there is no charge; however, we’d encourage you to purchase food and drink from the cafe.

KIDS [Reception – Year 6]

We have a great team who are committed to God and to seeing the kids rise up and be who they are created and called to be.

Fridays – Ignite

Every Friday during term time 5.45 -7:00pm, we run a fun-filled, action-packed kids club for those in primary school (reception to year 6).

Sundays – Kids Church

Every Sunday Kids Church takes place during the 11:00am service in our Cafe area. As you arrive on Sunday, our team will be there to meet you and will give you all the information you require.

Breathe Kids is open to all children over the age of 4. For those with 1 to 3 year olds, you can utilise our Suite at the end of the corridor if you wish to supervise your children outside of the auditorium. You can still watch the service via a video link whilst your children play with a selection of toys.

We are passionate about our community and are keen to partner with local organisations such as Abbey Hulton and Carmountside primary schools, St. John’s Welcome Centre and the Hubb Foundation.

Over the course of the year, we usually host a Good Friday Fun Day, a Summer Fun Day and a 3-day summer holiday club, plus a 1-day Christmas event for children. We also invite the whole community to our annual Christmas production in which we provide complimentary food. All of these events are free-of-charge.

Our latest initiative is called Cafe Hub which runs on Tuesday mornings for people of all ages to come enjoy a space to relax and chat. We serve hot drinks and food whilst also providing a selection of toys for little ones.

In addition to this, we regularly support our local Primary Schools by donating gifts at Easter and Christmas to those in need and we are also a collection point for Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank .

For all musicians, photographers, dancers, performers, filmmakers, artists and creatives we run Creative Nights on the first and third Thursdays of each month (except August); a great opportunity to learn new skills, rehearse existing skills and serve the church in a creative way.

Those who attend Creative Nights will also have the opportunity to take part in numerous creative projects such as our Easter and Christmas events, Sunday services and much, much more.

Throughout the year we run several courses that will empower you and help you to grow. These courses include The Alpha Course, New Believers, The Marriage Course, a bereavement course and a parenting course as well as tailor-made courses designed to meet you where you’re at.
